Laser Compatibility: All Diode and CO2. Note: Glowforge does not recommend using MDF in the Aura or Spark. We have tested the MDF and it cuts well but creates more particulate matter which can raise issues with the filter. Venting outside seems to be fine as well as cleaning the machine after but you can decide if MDF is used in your Spark or Aura
Description: Hickory heartwood is reddish-brown with occasional darker streaks and the sapwood is creamy white. The grain pattern is usually straight but occasionally wavy. It is medium in texture. Pecan/Hickory grows from the Mississippi River Valley North through Illinois. It Glues, stains and finishes well.
